Stephen is the Founder of ProVerity Solutions. He is a business and technology consultant with over 25 years of experience across Cybersecurity, Privacy, Software Development, and Business Operations.

Prior to founding ProVerity, Stephen was a Managing Director in the Consulting practice of Ernst & Young LLP. Prior to that, he served as a Managing Principal leading the Americas services team for HP’s Enterprise Security Products’ Fortify pillar, delivering software security assurance solutions. Earlier, he served as the Chief Security Officer and Chief Privacy Officer for a middle-market healthcare services organization. Stephen is the author of a book on Cybersecurity for cryptocurrencies and decentralized finance (“DeFi”) called Securing Wallets: 5 Keys to DeFi Security (ISBN 979-8-218-02779-7).

Stephen’s professional experience includes building and formalizing corporate information security capabilities and risk management functions as well as serving numerous Fortune 500 organizations from both an industry and consulting perspective. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Management Information Systems.
